Hi All,
Well it's been awhile since I last wrote an update. Graduate school has officially started for me, and surprisingly it came quite a bit early. My courses actually started last month in July. I didn't get into my first choice of school which was my alma mater, but that's life isn't it? However, no worries. I'm enjoying my courses, and learning a lot but its a whole lot of work (reading, writing, more reading, more writing, you get the picture...). I'm enrolled in a Masters in Psychology program (addiction emphasis)n at a Christian college in the U.S. This is a slight change from previous plans (Masters in Social Work).
I have been devoting a lot of time to applying to graduate school (thank goodness that's all over!), getting organized for school, traveled abroad to study race and racism at South Africa, University at Cape Town. It was great. They have very little racism there (not at all like the U.S.) despite apartheid history. The campus is huge. Sort of like a city of its own. Very nice. It's about 7 times larger than UCLA, to give you an idea of the size of the campus.
How's law studies coming along for everyone? I've been getting very little done with travel, family obligations and grad school. But even with all that, I've managed to read all of the supplementary material for CLRI and a good deal of the required reading. I don't get much responses on here, but I do get a good deal of visitors to the site. Hopefully, my posts on here are helpful to you. Feel free to comment below.
