Hi All,
Hope this finds you all well and in good spirits as you continue to work towards your law school goals. I am doing quite well in my studies towards my MS in Psychology (addiction counseling emphasis) and just trying to keep up the good work. Haven't been reading much law unfortunately because of the workload but, alas its moving along quickly. In a few months, I will be down to my last year before graduation from the program. I have obtained intern status from the board of California so I can begin working as a counselor under supervision, and it appears as though the county behavioral health department is trying to accommodate my fieldwork needs. I'm learning a lot and my law studies with University of London is sure to compliment it well. I look forward to the day when I can devote a lot more time to the law. My plan is to officially enroll sometime in 2016.
For those of you who are new to reading my blog, welcome. In case you don't know, my educational goals are to take a joint study track to combining psychology and law. I reside in CA of the U.S.A, which provides several avenues to sit the bar exam up to and including law office and judge chamber study. At this point, I'm not certain whether I will practice law once I complete the qualifying law degree but I am leaving the option open as of now. Personally, I am a homeschooling mother with a 9 year old daughter and 2 young adult children, who I also homeschooled and graduated from high school a few years back. We are all currently on holiday break, enjoying each other's company.
Are you a U.S. student studying for the LLB and would like to connect or leave a post? Feel free to contact me, or leave a comment. Happy law studies in the New Year!
