My campus-based studies are getting further involved. It is not as rigorous this quarter, which is a pleasant surprise, given that it has been considerably intensive up to this point. I'm taking some elective courses now as I'm in the home-stretch to the the BA finish line! However, I'm not quite there yet:). In my experimental psych class, we are reviewing my all-time favorite subject....drum roll please...statistics! NOT! I am also learning APA format in its truest sense, not the watered down version Ive been getting away with all these years. It's real APA scientific writing format with all of its particulars.
I've been afforded the opportunity to put time in for law studies. I'm nearly finished reading "The English Legal System" by Partington (Oxford). It is a bit dated, pre-House of Lords changes. Even though not so recent, it is really helpful as someone not familiar with the English Courts and such. Now I'm going to start getting some of the other (more recent) supplementary texts for the Common Law Reasoning and Institutions (CLRI) subject matter.
For anyone who is interested in getting a jumpstart on the UoL International Programme, LLB, here is a current booklist (2013-14)
