It's been several months since I last wrote on the blog, but I'm still trudging along! My last quarter (Spring, 2014) went well and it was a very challenging one to say the least, which I believe is the reason that I did not write here. I was waaay too busy with the last research course, Advanced Seminar in Clinical Psychology. I learned a lot, was required to give a very long talk at the end with a panel of others in class...and I graduated in June! Yay!
My parents flew in for the commencement ceremony and that made it all worthwhile, and my daughters were there (24 and 8). I also had a couple of friends show up and it all turned out great. I also made the deans list again at 3.5. Not bad.
Sad to say though, that I did very little law study the last couple of months of school and with good reason. Just way too much work to complete at the end of school. Besides preparing for the presentation, we had to do a lengthy paper with those in our group. Now while that may sound like a good thing (sharing a paper among several people) it was not all peaches and cream. Trying to collaborate with several other people and then pull all the individual pieces together into one, cohesive unit wasn't easy. It was great experience, but challenging!
